Celebrating the 5th Delmarva Christian Athletic Hall of Fame Class

The Delmarva Christian Athletic Hall of Fame exists to honor excellence—but more importantly, to honor those who during their time at DCS used athletics as a platform to glorify God.

That purpose was clearly reflected throughout the 5th Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, as Delmarva Christian welcomed a class defined not only by achievement, but by faith, leadership, and lasting impact.

“While these inductees have earned impressive honors, we are not ultimately celebrating worldly recognition,” said Matt Kwiatkowski, Head of School. “We are celebrating lives that reflect 1 Corinthians 10:31—doing all things for the glory of God. These inductees understood that their talents were gifts from Him, and they embraced the responsibility to nurture them, grow them, and shine them for His glory. That mindset—‘It’s not about us, it’s about Him’—is the foundation of our Hall of Fame.”

Camryn Breasure (Class of 2018)

Camryn Breasure stands among the most versatile and accomplished student-athletes in Delmarva Christian history. A standout in softball, basketball, and volleyball, Camryn earned multiple All-Conference honors across all three sports, captained teams in basketball and volleyball, and competed in the prestigious Blue-Gold All-Star Game.

Her achievements culminated in being named DCHS Outstanding Female Athlete in 2018, while also earning Scholar-Athlete honors all four years. Today, Camryn continues to serve students as a School Psychologist Intern with the Indian River School District, reflecting the same commitment and care that defined her athletic career.

Micah Magee (Class of 2016)

Micah Magee’s athletic career at Delmarva Christian was marked by versatility and leadership. Excelling in baseball, soccer, and basketball, Micah earned MVP honors in all three sports during his senior year and was named Outstanding Male Athlete in 2016. Micah was also was named a WBOC/Mountaire Farms Scholar Athlete of the Month, and received the WBOC Scholar Athlete of the Year Award and Scholarship as a senior at DCHS.

Now serving as a Youth Pastor at Ocean View Church of Christ, Micah continues to invest in the next generation, modeling faith, humility, and service both on and off the field.

Coach John L. McCullough Jr.

At the heart of this ceremony was the induction of Coach John McCullough, whose legacy extends far beyond the golf course. From 2016 to 2023, Coach McCullough built the DCHS golf program into one defined by growth, excellence, and Christ-centered character.

Even while battling cancer, he continued to show up for his athletes, modeling perseverance anchored in faith. His influence reached across the state, leading the Delaware golf community to rename its highest coaching honor the John L. McCullough Jr. Coach of the Year Award.

A Hall Built on Purpose

The Delmarva Christian Athletic Hall of Fame honors individuals who understand that excellence carries responsibility and that God-given talents are meant to be used for His glory.

As the ceremony concluded, attendees were reminded of a phrase long spoken within the Delmarva Christian community: “It’s not about us. It’s about Him." The 5th Hall of Fame Class stands as a powerful testimony to that truth—and a lasting example for future Royals.
