Delmarva Christian School Awarded $250,000 Grant for Georgetown Campus Expansion

Delmarva Christian School (DCS) has been awarded $250,000 to support the construction and renovation of its Georgetown Campus, a major step toward the school’s vision of a unified Pre-K–12 educational campus.

DCS was selected as one of 39 grantees in the Longwood Foundation’s Fall 2025 grant cycle, following months of preparation, planning, and submission of detailed project information outlining the scope and long-term impact of the project. The award serves as a strong affirmation of both the quality of the proposal and the awarding organization’s confidence in the transformative potential of Delmarva Christian School.

“Longwood’s commitment to being a catalyst for organizations is clearly reflected in this investment,” said Justin Savini, Director of Advancement. “It affirms not only this project, but the mission of Delmarva Christian School and the role it will play in shaping future generations. We are encouraged by the momentum it creates as we continue building environments where students can grow spiritually, academically, and physically.”

The campus expansion project is a cornerstone of DCS’s Stronger Together campaign, which focuses on strengthening facilities, expanding opportunities, and ensuring long-term sustainability for the school’s growing Pre-K–12 community.
