Our Future is Taking Shape:
School is officially back in session across both campuses, and it is wonderful to have students back in our buildings for another year of excellent Christian education! On top of the excitement of a new school year, we’re thrilled to share that ground has officially broken on our campus project!
Our theme for this year, “Christ Our Cornerstone” (Ephesians 2:20–22), reminds us that everything we do is For Him, By Him, and Through Him—including this historic project. Christ is the firm foundation of Delmarva Christian School, and He is the cornerstone upon which we are building this next chapter.
Over the summer, we’ve seen:
A new student parking lot built and already in use
Construction fencing and other safety measures installed
Softball field demolition completed
8 acres of trees removed for the future home of Royals Softball and new multi-purpose athletic fields
Stormwater ponds beginning to be dug
As of this week, receipt of our DelDOT permit to begin work on our second entrance
Looking ahead, we hope to see building pad work begin in September, a foundation poured in October, and steel rising in November! While timelines can shift, we remain on track to be one campus by Fall 2027.
We’ve raised just shy of $29 million and believe we need an additional $5 million to complete the project debt-free—providing PK2–12th grade on one campus.
We ask for your prayers for:
The safety of our workers, students, and staff
The provision of needed funds
That God’s Kingdom will be built for decades to come on this site
Registration Open!
