Worship and Connection: A Look Inside Chapel Days at DCHS

Chapel mornings at Delmarva Christian School provide students with an opportunity to step away from their regular classroom routines and focus on worship, prayer, and building relationships with one another.

This week, high school students began Chapel with Worship Circle in the middle of the gym. With the overhead lights off, string lights illuminating the floor, and no chairs in sight, students gathered together to stand and worship the Lord. Led by Royals Worship, the morning provided an opportunity for students to begin their day focused on Christ.

Following Worship Circle, students transitioned into smaller Community Groups. These gatherings provide dedicated time for students to be honest, share what's happening in their lives, pray together, and reflect on a variety of topics.

With approximately 50 student leaders helping facilitate connections with their peers, Community Groups give students the opportunity to build relationships, encourage one another, and grow in their faith.

Wednesday Chapel days are an important part of student life at DCHS. Through worship and intentional time together, students are encouraged to strengthen their relationship with Christ while building a community that supports and challenges one another to grow.
