DCS Announces School Theme

2025–2026 School Theme: Christ Our Cornerstone

Ephesians 2:20–22 (ESV)
“Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”

At Delmarva Christian School, our yearly themes serve as spiritual anchors—reminding us that we are one body in Christ, working together in unity under His divine guidance. Each theme sets the tone for the year ahead, shaping our culture, fueling our mission, and inspiring our community to live out their faith in bold, tangible ways.

This year’s theme, Christ Our Cornerstone, is especially meaningful as we witness a physical reflection of our spiritual foundation. With the recent groundbreaking of our Stronger Together Project, this is the first year we’ll see "bricks" actually move—a visible reminder that we are being built together, not just as a school, but as a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit.

As Ephesians 2:20–22 proclaims, Christ is the cornerstone in whom the whole structure is joined and grows. Whether in classrooms, on the field, or through the expansion of our campus, we are unified in purpose—rooted in Christ and rising together.

At Delmarva Christian, we remain committed to to proclaiming the gospel by preparing students spiritually, academically, and physically to know and do God’s will in their lives. And now, as bricks are laid and vision becomes reality, we continue to build something lasting—together—on the unshakable foundation of Jesus Christ.
