Life Calling
After completing a seven-year Accreditation by School Project (ASP) through Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), Delmarva Christian is stronger than ever. Delmarva Christian has worked diligently to mature young people to be biblically minded, well-educated, critical thinkers as they seek to discover their Life Calling.
On a whole, the major accomplishment of this project is the incorporation of the Life Calling concept throughout the culture of Delmarva Christian. Students, staff, parents, and board members have expressed understanding and utilized vocabulary pertaining to the distinction of a student’s “calling” based on his/her unique design by our Creator, rather than humanistically planning for college or a career. Conversations with students center around individual gifts, strengths, and passions when considering courses, J-term choices, college majors, internships, etc. Discovering God’s will is paramount in our lives as we seek to understand His purposes for us in the world. Life calling has become part of the worldview our students utilize to make sound decisions for their futures.
We are thankful to the students, staff, board of directors, families, and school leadership on their years of dedication to crafting a culture of Life Calling.
