J-Term Courses 2026

Discover. Grow. Serve. — J-Term 2026 at Delmarva Christian

Every January, students in grades 9–12 at Delmarva Christian High School step outside the traditional classroom to explore new interests, discover their passions, and seek God’s direction for their future. J-Term is a unique two-week experience designed to help students grow academically, spiritually, and personally—while having a lot of fun along the way J-Term provides opportunities for students to pursue their God-given gifts through hands-on learning, service, travel, and real-world experiences.

On-Campus Courses

This year’s J-Term lineup features a wide range of engaging courses designed to inspire creativity, deepen faith, and encourage exploration:
  • Cooking for Service — Learn the art of cooking while serving our community through meal preparation for a local Christian nonprofit.
  • Taste of the Nations — Experience global cultures with a mission mindset through food, stories, and activities.
  • Competing Biblically — Take your athletic journey to the next level by aligning competition with God’s purpose.
  • Makeup & Skincare, Spring Production, Filmmaking, Robotics, and Coding — Build new skills and discover new passions through hands-on learning.
  • The Holocaust: History, Humanity, and Moral Responsibility — Explore history through a Christian worldview and visit the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
  • Taste of Delaware, Crafting Through the Ages, Book Nook, Coffee Club, and more — From creative arts to local exploration, these courses offer something for every student.
Outdoor and active options like History, Space & Nature on Delmarva, Pickleball with Profé, and Protecting our Beaches give students opportunities to learn and grow beyond the classroom walls.

Off-Campus Experiences

Students seeking an even bigger adventure can participate in travel opportunities designed to expand their worldview and deepen their faith:
  • PASSION 2026 — Seniors will journey to Texas to attend Passion Conference, along with stops at historic sites and cultural landmarks.
  • Costa Rica Science Trip — A hands-on, immersive experience exploring rainforests, caves, volcanoes, and marine ecosystems.
  • Jamaica Mission Trip — Serving with Central Worship Center, students will engage in outreach and ministry.
  • Internships — Students can gain real-world experience by completing pre-approved internships during J-Term.

A Season of Growth

J-Term is more than just a break from routine—it’s a season of growth, discovery, and spiritual formation. Whether students are coding their first program, hiking a nature trail, serving a meal to someone in need, or worshiping with thousands at Passion Conference, they are given space to learn who God created them to be.
We can’t wait to see how God moves through J-Term 2026.
