DCS Announces Justin Savini as Interim Head of School

Delmarva Christian School is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Savini as Interim Head of School, marking a historic moment for the school as the first DCS alumnus to serve in the role.

A 2006 graduate of Delmarva Christian High School, Savini returned to DCS in 2016 and has spent the last decade serving the school community in leadership roles focused on advancement, development, and strategic growth. Most recently, he served as Director of Advancement, helping lead fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, and long-term planning efforts during a significant season of growth for the school.

For Savini, the opportunity is deeply personal.

“I’m honored to step into this role and continue serving a school that has shaped so much of my life,” Savini shared. “I’ve had the privilege of knowing and learning from all three previous Heads of School, first as a student and now as a staff member, and I’m grateful for the foundation they’ve built. I’m excited to continue that legacy of excellence while helping lead DCS into this next season of growth and opportunity.”

Savini says what excites him most is the opportunity to help strengthen and unify the school community during an important season of momentum and transition.

“There’s something incredibly special happening at DCS right now,” he said. “I believe God is continuing to position the school for long-term impact.”

As the school prepares for the completion of its building project and the transition toward one unified campus in the fall of 2027, Savini says he looks forward to walking alongside faculty, staff, students, families, and the Board as they continue building a healthy culture rooted in Christ-centered excellence
.

He also believes God’s faithfulness has been evident throughout the journey.

“From the growth of the school, to the generosity surrounding the campaign, to the people He continues to bring alongside the mission, there are so many reminders that this is ultimately His school and His story,” Savini said.

Under his leadership, Savini says the school community can expect steady leadership, clear communication, and a continued commitment to Excellent Christian Education.

“I want to help create an environment where students flourish, families feel connected, faculty and staff feel supported, and Christ remains at the center of everything we do.”

Before returning to Delmarva Christian, Savini served as Director of Admissions & Recruitment for Liberty University Online Academy. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies with a minor in Psychology and his Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University.

As Delmarva Christian continues moving into an exciting new chapter, the school celebrates the unique perspective Savini brings as a former student, current parent, and long-time staff member dedicated to the mission and future of DCS.
