J-Term 2026 Concludes at Delmarva Christian High School
Georgetown, DE — Delmarva Christian High School has concluded its annual J-Term program, held January 5 through 16, 2026, for students in grades 9 through 12. Every January, opportunities are provided to students enabling them to pursue passions while seeking and discerning God’s call on their lives. J-Term is a two-week experience that extends learning beyond the traditional classroom through hands-on courses, service, travel, and real-world exploration.

During J-Term 2026, students participated in a variety of on-campus courses offered in full-day, morning, and afternoon formats. First-week full-day courses included Robotics and Makeup and Skin Care. During the second week, students participated in Spring Production as a full-day course experience.

Morning course offerings included Protecting Our Beaches, Pickleball, Cooking for Service and Taste of Delaware, Coffee Club and Fellowship, and Book Nook. Afternoon courses included The Holocaust, Puzzle Me This, Intro to Filmmaking, Crafting Through the Ages, Competing Biblically, and Coding. These courses provided students with opportunities to explore interests, develop skills, and engage learning through hands-on and creative experiences.

In addition to on-campus coursework, students participated in off-campus opportunities including travel experiences and internships. Students traveled to Texas to attend the Passion Conference. Led by Lauren Troyer, High School English teacher, this trip gave students the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and experience powerful worship, teaching, and community with a generation passionate about living for what matters most. Senior Madison Little reflected on the experience, stating, “Passion was an experience I will never forget. It is amazing to see 45,000 people gather in a stadium for the sole purpose of experiencing Christ.”

Other students participated in a mission trip to Jamaica, while a significant number completed pre-approved internships, gaining valuable real-world experience in professional settings. Students also explored learning beyond the classroom through the History, Space and Nature course.

J-Term continues to be a meaningful season of growth and discovery for Delmarva Christian students, providing time and space to explore interests, serve others, and reflect on God’s direction for their lives. J-Term is offered annually to Delmarva Christian High School students in grades 9 through 12.
