Physical Science
The Physical Science course provides the foundation necessary to successfully understand God’s creation. This course covers the basic science concepts particularly significant to chemical and biological studies with concentration on the nature of matter, energy and their interaction. Students receive ample practice of the skills necessary for appropriate use of the scientific method. Upon completion of this course, students have an appreciation for the intricate nature of God’s creation and the necessity of the Divine Creator.

Chemistry
Chemistry is foundational to the study of science. With this in mind, the Chemistry course is designed to integrate its position as the central science with an appreciation for God’s divine creation, eminent genius, and universal fingerprint as contained in Genesis 1:1. It is taught on a college preparatory level with many hands-on opportunities for students to explore key concepts in the lab.

Anatomy and Physiology
This course of Human Anatomy and Physiology will acquaint the student with a fundamental understanding of the eleven human body systems at a college preparatory level. Divine creation, as contained in Genesis 1:1, will be abundantly demonstrated in the complexity and interdependence of all life functions from the level of living cells to the entire human body working in harmony. This will create a stark contrast with the view that life evolved from nonliving elements. Anatomy and Physiology reveals to the student the creative nature of God and the call on the christian’s life to take care of their bodies and the bodies of others.

Biology

This course offers a survey of the biological sciences. Particular attention is given to skills in observation and recording of data through written assignments and projects. Students develop their knowledge of God’s design of life, their role as stewards of that life, and the necessity of an intelligent Creator. Biology reveals to the student the creative nature of God and the call on the christian’s life to take care of God’s creation. This is accomplished through the study of ecosystems, organism uniqueness, community and environmental issues, and the presentation of solutions. Students also learn how to love each other's uniqueness and see their peers through God’s eyes in order to collaborate on solutions.
