Community Chapel was a great opportunity for our Christian school community to come together for a morning of fellowship, worship, and encouragement!
We welcomed middle school students from our Milton campus, students from other area Christian schools, and parents to join our high school students for chapel. It was encouraging to see students and families from across the area gathered together around a shared foundation of faith.
The morning began with a welcome from Interim Head of School Justin Savini, who shared a message about unity and cast a vision for the future of Delmarva Christian. His message set the tone for a morning centered on our shared faith, the importance of community, and the opportunities ahead for DCS.
The morning continued with games, plenty of laughs, and opportunities to build connections. Royals Worship, our student-led praise band, led everyone in worship, bringing the group together through music and praise.
We also welcomed JT Spadin, Generations Pastor at
LiFT Church, to deliver the sermon to our gathered audience.
Of course, a little friendly competition made the morning even more memorable! Congratulations to Mr. Bryant from
Epworth Christian School for earning the title of most talented balloon keeper upper. It was all in good fun and gave everyone another reason to cheer and laugh together!
We are thankful for the churches, Christian schools, families, and students that make up our local community. Opportunities like Community Chapel remind us that we are part of something bigger, united by our faith in Christ and our shared commitment to encouraging the next generation.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to more opportunities to worship, grow, and fellowship together!
