Junior Blake Dale ’28 earned his second recognition for his outstanding season with the Delmarva Christian Royals Soccer team.

Dale was recently featured as an Athlete of the Week by the Cape Gazette, adding to an impressive list of individual honors this season. Earlier in the fall, he was also named a Morning Star Publications Star of the Week in both the Laurel Star and Seaford Star.

"Blake Dale has elevated to a whole new level this season," soccer coach Luke Shiderly said. "His skill on the ball has skyrocketed, his shot is like a cannon and his speed is something out of a superhero movie! Blake is humble and yet has a fiery competitiveness that keeps him hungry to improve."

Dale has been a key part of the Royals' offensive attack throughout the season with 23 regular season goals (25 including tournament play). With his ability to find the back of the net, he finished the season among the top goal scorers in Delaware high school soccer.

His recognition reflects not only his individual performance but also the hard work and commitment he brings to the field as a member of the Royals soccer program.

Congratulations to Blake on another well-deserved honor and a great season! We are proud of you!
