Delmarva Christian School has officially begun the 2026–27 school year with nearly 600 students enrolled in PK2 through 12th grade across its two campuses in Milton and Georgetown.

This school year marks the final year of Delmarva Christian's split-campus model as the school looks to bring its students together in Georgetown in 2027.

The theme for the 2026–27 school year is Building. Excitement. Together.  a reflection of the momentum and anticipation surrounding both the new school year and the future of Delmarva Christian.

“We are incredibly excited about what is ahead for our students, families and school community,” said Interim Head of School Justin Savini. “At the same time, we are humbled by the trust our families place in us. Families make significant investments and sacrifices to provide a Delmarva Christian education for their children, and we do not take that responsibility lightly. We have the opportunity to spend nearly eight hours each day with these students, and we know how important that time is.”

The school year began with opportunities for families and students to reconnect and celebrate the start of a new year. High school students and families gathered for a welcome-back barbecue at the Georgetown campus, while PK2 through eighth-grade families gathered in Milton for a welcome-back evening where students had the opportunity to meet their teachers and enjoy sweet treats together.

As students begin a new year of learning, faith and community, Delmarva Christian is also looking toward an exciting future. The school is preparing for the transition to a unified Georgetown campus, bringing together its programs and school community in a new chapter for the institution.

“Building excitement together is more than just our theme for the year,” Savini said. “It reflects the sense of anticipation we are experiencing as a school community. We are grateful for where we are today and excited about where God is leading us next.”
