For nearly 20 years, the Delmarva Christian School logo has represented who we are as a school community. It has been present at graduations, championships, chapels, mission trips, concerts, classrooms, and countless moments where students have grown academically and spiritually.

As our school continues to grow, so does the way we tell our story.

Today, we are excited to introduce a refreshed visual identity that honors our heritage while preparing us for the future.

Our new logo is more than an updated design, it is a thoughtful expression of our mission, our values, and the foundation upon which Delmarva Christian School stands.

Every element of the new logo was chosen intentionally.

"My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation." 2 Samuel 22:3

The shield remains the foundation of our identity. Modernized and simplified, it represents strength, unity, and the unwavering protection found in Christ. While its appearance has evolved, its meaning remains unchanged.

"Fixing our eyes on Jesus..."  Hebrews 12:2

The cross now stands alone as the defining element of our mark.

Rather than being placed on top of the design, it is intentionally formed by the space between the purple and silver. This serves as a reminder that Christ is not something we add to education, He is woven into every part of who we are. Even in the space between, He remains central.

"Delmarva" now carries greater visual emphasis beneath the shield.

This reflects our deep commitment to serving families throughout the Delmarva region while continuing to provide a distinctly Christian education that prepares students to impact the world for Christ.

The words Christian School are intentionally aligned as one supporting statement.

We are not simply a school that happens to be Christian, nor a Christian organization that happens to educate. Faith and learning are inseparable at Delmarva Christian School. Every subject, every relationship, and every opportunity is viewed through the lens of God's Truth.

The DCS initials have been refined to create a clean, confident mark that is instantly recognizable across digital platforms, athletics, apparel, publications, and signage.

Our new typography uses Adobe Garamond, a typeface inspired by sixteenth-century designs.

Its timeless style reflects who we are as a school—rooted in history, committed to academic excellence, and focused on preparing students with wisdom that lasts beyond today's trends.

While our colors remain unmistakably Delmarva Christian, they have been refreshed for a cleaner, brighter look. By removing black from the primary palette, the overall identity feels lighter, more contemporary, and more versatile across print, digital, and environmental applications.

The people, the mission, and the work God is doing through this community define who we are.

But a logo should faithfully represent that mission.

As Delmarva Christian School prepares for an exciting new chapter, this refreshed identity reflects where we've been, who we are today, and where God is leading us next.
