Delmarva Christian School is excited to unveil a series of major upgrades to its Performing Arts and Praise & Worship programs, made possible through the generosity of supporters of the Stronger Together capital campaign.
As part of this initiative, the school has enhanced its sound, lighting, and visual systems to better serve students who lead worship, perform on stage, and serve behind the scenes in technical roles. These improvements include a new sound system with upgraded microphones and in-ear monitors, enhanced projection for the center screen, and updated theatrical lighting to support performances and gatherings.
While the equipment itself represents a significant step forward, the true impact is on students.
These upgrades remove distractions and create an environment where every word and every note can be heard clearly. Students are now able to move freely, lead confidently, and focus fully on their craft whether they are singing, speaking, acting, playing an instrument, or managing production.
The improvements also support the growing number of students involved in the arts and technical production. From worship teams and choir members to stage crew and tech students, these enhancements provide tools that match the excellence and dedication students bring to the stage.

"The upgrade to our sound and AV gear is an investment in our students who excel in music and tech. It allows our students to be trained on the latest technology, and equipped to take what they’re learning back to their local churches" Shannon Matthews, DCHS Performing Arts. "Our vision is that, as they gain knowledge and experience at DCS, they will use their gifts and talents to further the Kingdom of Christ throughout Delmarva Christian."
The Performing Arts and Praise & Worship upgrades represent just one part of the broader Stronger Together campaign, which continues to strengthen programs and facilities across campus.
Through faithful partnership and shared vision, DCS remains committed to equipping the next generation to use their gifts boldly for the stage, for the church, and for God’s glory.
