Delmarva Christian High School recently hosted two special January Term (J-Term) Showcases, inviting family and friends to reflect on the diverse experiences students encountered. Through presentations and discussions, students shared insights into their J-Term journeys, highlighting how they explored God’s calling through service, missions, travel, and hands-on academic courses.
“J-Term is an integral part of Delmarva Christian’s program of study,” said Head of Schools Matt Kwiatkowski. “Students engage in opportunities that lead them to a greater understanding of who God is and how He has uniquely designed them, ultimately stepping closer to embracing His calling on their lives.”
Each year, Delmarva Christian’s J-Term provides students with opportunities for spiritual, academic, and physical growth, fostering new connections and deepening relationships with teachers in unique learning environments—both locally and globally.
This year, students traveled to Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and Atlanta, GA, for the Passion Conference. Locally, they engaged in a dynamic mix of hands-on learning, faith-based discussions, and real-world experiences, from cooking for service and competitive athletics to filmmaking, career prep, robotics, and creative arts.
Delmarva Christian Schools provides excellent Christian education for students in grades 9 through 12 at the high school in Georgetown and from young toddlers through grade 8 in Milton.
