Please Welcome, Kelly Duffy Director of Instruction High School

Kelly Duffy has recently joined Delmarva Christian School as the High School Director of Instruction, bringing with her a wealth of experience in learning and development. With a Master of Arts in Secondary Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Duffy is a seasoned educator and trainer with a strong background in curriculum development, program management, and learner success. "The opportunity to be a part of the DCS team is an answered prayer," Duffy shares, expressing her excitement to contribute to excellent Christian education, "I am eager to form new relationships with the DCS community, including teachers, staff, students, and parents, and looks forward to assisting and interacting with them."

Duffy's career is marked by significant achievements, including developing individualized instruction programs for diverse learners Before joining DCS, Kelly served as a Lead Facilitator in various K-12 schools across South Carolina and Delaware, where she led special services' professional education, designed instructional content, and managed learner performance. Her expertise extends to adult learning theory, quality control, and regulatory management, with previous experience as a Training Specialist at Delaware Technical & Community College.

Duffy is passionate about fostering impactful learning experiences and creating engaging learning environments. Her skills in curriculum development, technology integration, and team collaboration make her an invaluable asset to DCS. "I'm most excited about forming new relationships with the DCS community—teachers, staff, students, and parents," Duffy says, reflecting her commitment to building strong, supportive connections as she steps into her new role.
