Delmarva Christian Donates over 3,000 Canned Goods to Local Charities
Delmarva Christian Schools, a non-denominational Christian school system with campuses in Milton and Georgetown, worked with families to gather over 3,000 canned goods and non-perishable food items to benefit local food drives and charities.

All three programs in the Delmarva Christian school system worked together to promote, collect, and deliver to local charities. At the Milton Campus, families in the Delmarva Christian Early Learning Center collected non-perishable food items to benefit Helping Hands Food Bank out of Bethel Tabernacle Church in Frankford. Led by Milton Campus PTF president Alaine Campbell, students in PK4 through eighth grade collected enough items to feed 85 families through the Milton Community Food Pantry.  National Honor Society students at Delmarva Christian High School in Georgetown sponsored the school-wide food drive and turned it into a class competition. Almost 1,400 cans were brought to the Caroling on the Circle location at the Georgetown Circle for the annual food drive to “Pack the Pod.”

"Opportunities, like supporting local food pantries, are great ways to lead our students into servant hearted relationships in our community," DCS Head of School, Matt Kwiatkowski, "It is a privilege to serve with Christ's love, and make an impact in, the community who has always supported the mission of Delmarva Christian Schools."
