2022-2023 School Theme Announced

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." 1 Peter 4:10
Each year members of the leadership team at Delmarva Christian take the time to reflect upon DCS culture and the culture at large to dive into scripture and allow the Lord to lay upon our hearts direction for the next school year by way of a school-wide theme.

The 2022-2023 School Theme, Not My Own, is based on the Scripture passage 1 Peter 4: 8-11.

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."

“The pandemic has no doubt impacted people in many, many ways. One noticeable impact is that people have become much more inward focused, paying special attention to wellness and worried about stability,” Matt Kwiatkowski, DCS Head of School. “I have especially seen a cultural decline in persistence. Realizing that we as Christian are God's children helps us conclude that not only are we not our own because we are His, but because we are His, we should also be about others.”

We ask you to join Delmarva Christian Schools in praying for the school this year as we commence the 2022-2023 school session.
