DCHS Inducts Ten to National Honor Society

The National Honor Society serves to recognize students who have demonstrated and strive for excellence in four areas known as pillars, Scholarship, Character, Service and Leadership. On May 4, Delmarva Christian High School inducted ten new members into the DCHS chapter of the National Honor Society.

Congratulations to Sean French, Maggie Kwiatkowski, Ryley McCluskey, Josephine Peranteau, Audra Pilkington, Ashtin Reese, Mollie Skipper, Katie Thompson, Lydia Woods, and Kathleen Zarebicki.

"I want to thank the current members of the NHS for leading and being witnesses to this induction and also for continuing to set the standard high. Being inducted into NHS is ultimately an acknowledgement of the gifts you
have been given and a reflection of how you have chosen to use them," NHS Advisor and DCHS Director of Instruction, Kelley Ridley.

In order to be eligible for NHS, one’s cumulative grade average must be a 94% or higher after completing 1 year at DCHS. However, academics are only one small area that is celebrated.
